Leaving Romania

I'm at the end of my third trip to Romania. It's taken so long because of some automation software from a subcontractor keeps not being ready.

At home, I'm buying a home in Mesquite (TX) and moving out of the place I've rented in Lancaster (also TX) for a year.

The wife and kids miss me a lot, and I miss them. It will be good to be home.

While in Romania, I traveled from the capital city (Bucharest) N to Bacau, to Brasov, and even to Sibiu. I have seen castles (like the one called "Peles"), mountains (like the Fagaras), and lots and lots of countryside and transmitters. (I am currently working for a transmitter manufacturer based in the USA.)

This journal has been abandoned for a long time. Don't take this update as a sign that more updates will be coming soon; they probably won't.

Well, I have to catch the shuttle to the airport. Goodbye for now.
